Detailed below is our Invitation to Bid for upcoming Basrah Gas Company (BGC) LPG Tender Via our company, BZ Group FZCO (BZG).

Upcoming LPG Tender

Basrah Gas Company (BGC) is preparing an upcoming spot export opportunity for the following products:

• Condensate: 20,000 MT (±10%)

• LPG: 20,000 MT (±10%)

The products will be supplied on an Ex-Works (EXW) basis by trucks, in accordance with BGC’s General Terms & Conditions (GT&C).

BGC is reaching out to its registered buyers to assess interest in participating in this opportunity. BZG is a pre-qualified registered buyer and an exporter and a registered buyer of BGC to bid for LPG quantities from December 2024.  As a registered buyer with BGC, our company BZG, has been invited to bid in the upcoming LPG tender of BGC.

BZG plans to bid for quantities based on the expressions of interest, bookings, and competitive bids received over the next one to two weeks. Parties ready, willing  and able of participating are requested to confirm their interest by replying to this email within seven (7) days from the date of this notice, and preferably no later than Thursday, 06-August-2026.

BZG has prepared a document titled “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST & PROVISIONAL BOOKING, Bulk LPG Supply – EXW (BGC Storage Plant), Basra, Iraq | September 2026 Onwards” to solicit expression of interest (EOI) with indicative tender bid prices from interested parties for booking of LPG quantities.

In your response, please also provide the following information:

1. Confirmation of truck availability.
2. Intended export destination. Please note that exports to Syria are also approved, subject to compliance with all applicable regulatory, sanctions, and internal compliance requirements.

Background Information

The Iraqi Ministry of Oil has granted the Oil Marketing Company (“SOMO”) exclusive rights to import and export crude oil, gas, and oil products to and from the Republic of Iraq, in accordance with Laws 101 of 1976 and 272 of 1987. In addition, Basrah Gas Company (“BGC” or “Supplier”) was authorised to export the products produced by the venture with SOMO on behalf of BGC, in accordance with the Basrah Gas Development Agreement (as endorsed by the Iraqi Council of Ministers in 2011). In this context, BGC and SOMO jointly invite offers for sales of the product from Basrah Gas Company, Umm Qasr Marine Terminal.
