Mr Mohammad Ziyad A. Syed, (Managing) Director & GM, BZ Group FZCO; mohammad.ziyad@syebiz.com The Company’s founders & top management have extensive experience in natural gas and LPG transportation, storage, distribution and retail business in Pakistan. In the Energy sector, particularly natural gas & LPG mid and down-stream segments, Mr Syed has over ten (10) years of experience in various senior positions including CEO/MD of SSGC LPG (Private) Limited, where he led and successfully turned around, to profitability and growth, a major operator of LPG import & storage terminal with LPG storage, transportation, marketing, bottling and distribution operations. During his period with SSGC-LPG, a record number of LPG vessels have been handled at SSGC LPG Terminal.

Recently, in recognition of his experience and expertise in the oil & gas sector, he has been awarded individual lifetime membership of the Petroleum Institute of Pakistan. Mr Syed is also an Independent Non-Executive-Director, in a major listed company in Pakistan. He has overall thirty-five (35) years of professional experience, of that over twenty-five (25) years of Board and CXO level experience, with seventeen (17) years experience in CFO & CEO roles, including over ten (10) years mainly in large (US$ 1 billion +) corporates & a multinational. Mr Syed is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
